bashaimran3k Posted July 6, 2015 Report Posted July 6, 2015 Hi, I am in US and my current H1B visa expired on April 17th 2015. I am planning to visit India in November 2015 (within 12 months from my visa expiry date). I would like to know if I am eligible for IWP (Drop box) when I visit India. Here are my details. 1. I am with the same employer as my previous visa 2. My latest visa stamp was issued in 2013 was without administrative processing (not annotated with "Clearance received"). However, I did receive administrative processing in a prior visa stamping in 2011. I am concerned about point 2 since I received administrative status once but not on my latest visa. Am I still eligible for IWP? If yes, what are the chances of me getting my visa without any issues? Please advise. Thanks & Regards, Imran.
shekar11# Posted July 7, 2015 Report Posted July 7, 2015 You are eligible because consulate only wants if you had a 221G on your previous visa stamping. Chances of stamping depend on your employer and your documentation.
