asingha Posted July 6, 2015 Report Posted July 6, 2015 Hi, Here is my case: - I was working with Employer A, Visa and Petition valid till October 1, 2014 - I found a new Employer B and they submitted a transfer petition Received Date June 18, 2014 (Notice date June 20, 2014) - I resigned from Employer A, my last date was July 11, 2014 (Friday) - I joined Employer B, on July 21, 2014 Monday (there was a gap of 5 working days between A end date and B start date, 14 July to 18 July, other days being weekends) - H1 petition with the Employer B approved on August 27, 2014 (Valid for August 27, 2014 to June 15, 2017) My questions - 1. There was a gap of 5 working days between employer A end date and employer B start date. Would this create a legal problem in future? If yes, what should I do to rectify it? 2. I am planning to go to India in August first week 2015. Since my Visa from employer A was valid till October 1, 2014 which is less than 12 months, the travel website says I am eligible for Dropbox facility and I don't have to go for interview. I fulfill all other criteria like stamping after 2008, same visa category and last stamping done in India. The only confusion is Change in Petitioner. Am I still be eligible for Drop box if I have changed employer fulfilling all other conditions? Thanks for your time and response in advance.
