is there an update on Canada Visa issue process?

Hi Folks,

Would like to check the status on visa issues and the backlogs. is it all cleared?

I have my appointment on 22nd july. if the issue is resolved, I would like to confirm my appt or else I will postpone for August.

It seems to be they have cleared backlog,I have attended interview last week in Vancouver and got the passport with in 2 days.

I have old H1B (Employer A) visa in my passport which is expiring on October 2015, but my new petition is valid till June 2016. 

 

I am an Indian citizen and also a permanent resident of Canada. Can I go to Canada for H1B visa stamping ?

 

I heard that I must go to home country for H1B visa stamping. Is it true ?
