gokuland Posted July 3, 2015 Report Posted July 3, 2015 I'm in H1, I had change of work location, so my employer filed for H1B amendment and extension. During this time my wife was in India, My VISA has expiration date as 30 Sept 2015. After the extension, I got my I-797 with validity date upto 18 Apr 2018. Using my new I-797 my wife attended the visa interview in India and got her VISA upto Apr 2018. But when she came to US at the port of entry, they gave I 94 up to 30 Sept 2015. Please advice, whether go to CBP and check with them or need to apply for H4 extension? Thanks, Gokul
jairichi Posted July 3, 2015 Report Posted July 3, 2015 Did she provide at POE a copy of your new I797? Or is her passport expiring by 30th Sept 2015? If neither of the case she has to approach local CBP.
