Date of birth error in I797 form

I recently transferred my H1b to employer B and joined them. Now i notice that in I797 approval form my date of birth is wrong. My employer B saying that they can fix it by sending an application to USCIS. I dont know how critical it is. Will there be any issues for me? Please let me know.

If i were you i would call USCIS helpline and ask them what is the process to get it corrected. I would also discuss and push my employer's attorney to take corrective action at the earliest.
