Can I process "F1 to F2 Change of status" and J1 application at the same time

Hai,

 

I have applied for Change of status F1 to F2 recently and it is on pending. Now I have sponsor for J1 and willing to apply J1.

 

Can I apply for J1 while the F1 to F2 application is in pending. Is this procedure valid ? Because I-20 issued for dependent and also J1-DS 2019 form both have different SEVIS. I am confused whether it is OK to apply for J1 now.

 

Please answer my question.
