situation in changing employer

Hi Experts here is my situation 

 

- I changed my employer after my 140 is approved 

- I got 3 years while changing my employer because I had a I140 approved 

- I have completed 6 months, I want to change to a different employer now 

 

will I get the rest 2.5 years while changing to the new employer ? 

I think my previous I140 that got approved has been withdrawn . Please help.

Yes, you will get rest of that 2.5 years.

If I-140 has been withdrawn, H1 transfer will not be possible. If not withdrawn, you can get 3 years.

It is possible but OP will get only the rest of the years of the approved H1B extension based on previously approved (but now revoked) I-140.
