Gap in joining two employers - H1B

Hi,

 

Here is my situation-

 

I got laid off on June 26, 2015 with employer 'A'  while my H1-B transfer is in process(PP- Only change of employer)  and got the receipt on June 19, 2015.I need to wait till my petition get approved to join employer B.My joining date is July 08, 2015.

 

1) My question is there is gap of almost 10 days between leaving from employer A and joining employer B , if my petition gets approved. Will i run into some issues due to this gap?

 

2) Suppose if i get RFE, what are my options, will i ran into any issues?.

No issue at all as your H1B transfer was filed before your last working day with employer A.

Why are you so negative?

 

gap of 10 days is fine. Since you are so eager to get a RFE- if you get a RFE after joining the new employer on July 8th you will be fine as you will be on legal status with your receipt and "petition under process" with USCIS.
