LCA Amendment

I am working with an organization in India.

Earlier my H1B Visa was filled for New York location, It is approved and stamped.

But now I have got assignment in Indianapolis. Parent Organization is same.

 

1. I have applied for LCA amendment, how much time it will take to complete the process?

2. Can I fly from India to US, once the amendment request completed.

3. Does H1B amendment is required for my case? and how it is different from LCA Amendment.

Yes you need H1 amendment and its not safe to travel before approval. Amendment takes same time, just like reg h1.

You require approved LCA with amendment and then of course amended H1. I will not suggest you should go before all these happen. You have the same client/employer so you should e fine with getting all the approvals, and you can use the same Visa stamp to fly!
