Staying in US during grace period after OPT ends and go to India for H4 stamping

My OPT extensions ends on July 11th 2015 and I am married on June 10th 2015. As filing for Change of Status from F1 to H4 processing time is very slow(6-8 months), planning to go India to get H4 visa stamping. Is it safe to stay in US for 1-2 weeks after my OPT ends and during 60 grace period? or I have to leave US on or before July 11th 2015.

 

If I stay in US during the 1-2 weeks of my grace period, will there be any issues when I go to H4 VISA stamping in India?

You can stay during the 60 day grace period. That's what grace period means. You are legal during that time.
