Employer name misspelled in H1B Approval - Applied for amendment

Hi ,

 

I recently changed my company. My H1 got transferred successfully.  In the Approval notice we observed that company is mis-spelled. In place of "C" , they typed as "K".

 

I got my amendment notice on May 28th from VA center. My wife is in india and we are waiting for this amendment approval. How long these cases will take to get approval?? Any idea on these time lines..

I had a similar issue and they took almost regular processing time to get it corrected. But that shouldnt affect your any other proceedings. I actually went to stamping while that was pending since that was only a name correction our attorneys mentioned it shldnt be an issue. The stamping went through just fine. I just carried the letter that was sent to USCIS for correction of the name.
