L1B application marital status

Hi,

 

My cousin who is divorced is applying for L1B, she is legally divorced but has mentioned her marital status as single in her employer's records. She is confused what marital status should she write on L1B application. Should it be single or divorced.

 

Please let me know your thoughts.

If there is a provision then mention as divorced.
