H4 Stamping for H1 - New Job

How are you doing!

I'm in a very rare case where I got stamped last month through an employer A for the client C1.

I went for a vacation for 2 months, and I got married recently.

Now, after I came back, the client assignment is done, and now I'm about to join another client C2.

 

My H1 on which stamping was done is based on the client C1 ( My employer filed H1 based on the project for Client C1). But since I'm changing my client now, My new job is in the same location, so will my employer file a new LCA now? Will he have to ammend my H1 now?

 

If thats the case, my wife's stamping is on July 21, then which client should she say if they ask whom your husband is working for? If she says C1, then thats false. But if she says C2, then my H1 was on C1.

 

Please suggest in this regard.

Your H1 will have your employer's name not your client.

 Yes you need H1 amendment.
