shivanimma Posted June 22, 2015 Author Report Posted June 22, 2015 not sure kumar.. mine was on jun 16th and still no updates.. hopefully it will resolve by the time of your appointment and u will get the passport in the same week.. at this point no proper update on when it will resolve..

Quick question though, did they take your passport photo, I don't recollect them taking mine and a little worried that will further delay the process.

They did not take mine too.

tpakalapati Posted June 23, 2015 Report Posted June 23, 2015 I had my interview today. Checked with the consular officer that 22 posts have been restored and if Ottawa is one of them. He said, unfortunately Ottawa is not one of them. He also said posts that have been restored are big ones and the Ottawa is a small one. Hopefully, ours will be back to normal soon.

biodallas Posted June 24, 2015 Report Posted June 24, 2015 My original interview date was June 16th, I finally got through the interview process yesterday, now waiting begins for passport. The visa officer said 7 business days is what they anticipate for passport delivery.

Interview process has always been normal, the issue is printing visas. I could not tell exact number of days of wait period.
