Applying L1B while H1B petition is pending

Hi,

 

  I work for Employer A. Employer B filed H1B petition on behalf of me this year and it is picked up from the lottery and is due for further processing in september. And now my current employer (i.e A) want to file L1B for me in july, and have some questions in this regard.

 

1.   Can I proceed with L1B while H1B petition is pending? Will there be any issues/complexities in it?
2.   If it isn't possible should I consider withdrawing my H1B petition? can H1 be withdrawn at any stage during the processing?

Looking for best possible alternative in this scenario. I really appreciate any help in this regard.
