Currently US visa systems has technical problem and i am unable to book slot for H4 Visa in india. http://travel.state.gov/content/travel/english/news/technological-systems-issue.html 1.Can my spouse travel with B1/B2 to US and later on apply for H4 visa in USA? 2. can the H4 visa stamping be done in US itself? or my spouse have to travel to India or anyother country outside US like canada to get the stamping? 3. I have applied for green card and my EAD will come anytime. Will there be any complications to my green card processing as a result of this? Experts please suggest. Regards, Chintu

Snigi Posted June 9, 2016 Report Posted June 9, 2016 Hi All, Request for your guidance please- I am presently in USA on tourist visa(B2), I-94 expiring on July 2016. However I have H4 visa as well on my passport from India, But it is not stamped in US port of entry (Reason- My husband is presently working on H1B in USA and he has entered USA after I entered USA, hence I entered on B2.) Please guide how can I convert my B2 to H4 while staying in USA, what is the process, I have 1.5 months time in hand. I read online about the option of applying for I-395, if you can guide. Regards SR
