Visa appointment is postponed to Thursday/Friday/Next week in Vancouver

Hi ,

 

i Had a scheduled visa appointment on 16th June at 10:45 in Vancouver but they didn’t interview me due to DS-160 Issue, and they told me to come back on Thursday/friday or next week but they are not sure whether they are not 100% sure that they are gonna interview me on Thursday/friday,please let me know if anyone else are in the same situation and let you know if you have any details on this

Currently their systems are in a fix. Don't think they have posted any specific timeline for a resolution. Best would be to wait for it to get resolved and then schedule the next earliest available appointment.

I had mine yesterday, without any issue I have at 10:00 AM, what do you mean by ds 160 problem?

 

when they say you can comeback on Thursday, did you asked how can I comeback on Thursday without appointment? whom can I contact ? etc...o to consulate Thursday and tell the front desk and try...

i have submitted the DS-160 form after June 9th , whoever submitted their DS-160 form after June 9th are not able to attend the interview due to Technical glitch.

 

They gave me reentry slip to come back on/after Thursday but they told me that there are no guarantees that i will be  interviewed on/after Thursday

Currently i am not located in Vancouver ,  i don't want to come to vancouver if they still facing same technical problems, even though i come, they don't interview me anyway. 

 

if anyone are in same situation and currently located in Vancouver please let me know

The problem with ds160 is if someone submitted the ds160 after 8th june have to reschedule their appointment cause the database which saves the ds160 failed on 9th june from their side. That is why they are calling you back on Thursday or Friday. We are interviewed on 10 june but still waiting for there reply to pickup our passports. @Ather or any one: can you please post message who already attended the interview and stuck while waiting for the passport pick up in vancouver.

and since how long..appreciate your response eagerly your post might save some of the families from these hassles.

Hi kumar i had my interview on 10 june and still waiting for the passport. I would say dont travel until this issue is fixed complete. Good luck

@Ather - Do post when you get your passport. I came back because it was taking too long to fix and have to come back again for the stamping.
