The bachelor degree for "cyber security" is only available as an online degree from University. It is not available under regular courses offered by university. Now my question: Is this online degree valid/considered by USCIS while processing h1?
JoeF Posted June 17, 2015 Report Posted June 17, 2015 For an H1, you would need a Bachelor degree. An associate degree is less than a Bachelor degree, so it can't be used for an H1.
livliv Posted June 17, 2015 Report Posted June 17, 2015 The online Bachelor's degree if obtained from an accredited (by national agency) US school, may be used to obtain an H1B assuming the job requires such a degree. If the degree is from a foreign university, an education equivalency evaluation must be done.
