I693 A number

I just realized that A# for I140 approvals (starts with 2) is different than the A# for my past H1B approvals (strarts with 1)

 

Now on my medicals I have put from my H1B and the medicals are sealed by doctor.

 

1. Which is the correct A# to fill on I693?

2. Is it necessary to go back to doctor to get it corrected if I need to put I140 A# on I693? Right now I have H1B A# on I693?

1. Use A# which was generated when I-140 was approved. Any H1B approved after the I 140 will show the same A2XX XXX XXX.

2. If you are not sure or  have two different numbers on   different forms you can choose to leave the field blank. For example Medicals submitted for dependents at the time of initial I-485 filing will not have A# generated until case is accepted for processing.
