Employer Change I140 Approved Question

Hi,

 

I've question about my I140 approved thing.

 

My Company A has filled GC and my I140 is approved, and my h1b is with Company B. Company B has acquired legally Company A (Company A is still existed company) .

 

My questions is,

 

if I want my I140 to be filed under Company B ...same thing as moving to a different company ? And Do they have to start the whole process again ? Or there is something another way ? 

 

Please advice me,

Yes, employer B has to start from scratch. Only PD can be retained.
