H1 to h4 and back to h1

Hi,

I was working on h1b and i had to quit US and come back on h4 due to an issue with my h1b transfer. Now im on h4 looking for a job (h1b) recently my spouse changed his job to new employer. The question i have is, do i have to apply h4 with my spouse' latest employer? I heard the h4 application process times are taking mnths. Would it cause any issue to my future h1b if im still with old h4(which prev. Employer might soon cancel the h1)? Plz advice asap. :(

An H4 has nothing to do with your spouse's job. It only has to do with you your spouse being in valid H1 status.

As long as your H4 is valid, nothing has to be done.

Your H4 status is tied to your spouse on H1B. Employer change does not matter. As long as your I94 is valid you are fine to stay in US.
