Dropbox and Biometric

I am eligible for dropbox . Will I need to still get the Biometric / Fingerprinting done at consulate or its not needed ?

Thanks , is it done at any of Stanley location ? For example if I am submitting documents at Ahmedabad VFS location will it be done there ? Or I will need to book appointment at Mumbai ?

Interview Waiver(Visa issues between 2004-2008) and Dropbox (visa Issued After Jan 2008) , Dropbox needs no fingerprinting .If someone who already had done a dropbox can confirm if I will need to be ten printed .

I may be wrong but I remember that the dropbox confirmation letter mentioned that you need not be personally present for dropping off the passport instead you can send a representative. Which means if you are eligible for dropbox you dont need biometrics.

I dropped my documents today , so with dropbox there is no need of fingerprinting .
