kchandr7 Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 I'm traveling to India in September 2015 and I have to get my H1-B stamped. I arrived on a B-2 Visa for a personal reason, and got a change of status. And I've been employed in the US since November 2014. My passport expires on 04/2018 and the H1-B approval notice expires on 03/2018. Per recommendation, it is advisable to have at least have a 6 month buffer time between. I'm only allowed to renew my passport only 12 months before it expires. Am I still okay to go for stamping? Is there anything I have to keep in mind?
