Visu
Dear Team, I am on F2 Dependent visa and currently in US staying with my wife. I have applied for H1B Visa but got to know from employer that no hopes for this time. If I want to change my visa status to F1 how long the process would be. I have eight plus years of IT experience do I have any other options for me to work in US. Please let me the possible options I can work in USA. Link to comment
jairichi
If you have an employer in your home country and if they have a base in US and if you are eligible you can opt for a L1A or L2 visa. F1 is not possible now as admission for fall semester is over. And, since your intention is to work do not think about F1. Link to comment
livliv
F1 is for studying and not working. Do not fall prey to shady universities which advertise CPT from day one. That will get you in trouble. Link to comment

Why are you thinking about an F1 when you want to work??? Link to comment
