Hello,

 

I got my H1B extension and i am in India on vacation now, i got the option of DropBox for Visa stamping at Hyderabad Consulate. 

 

Dropped of Docs on Mon 8th and still waiting for a response.

 

Is anyone on the same boat? Or does anyone know the tentative time for Response.

There are some technical difficulties for US Consulates for issuing visa stamps. Check this forum for latest updates as many have posted the same issue. And this issue is world wide.

I see on the site that the passport issue has been resolved. We have to wait on the Visa issue to be resolved.

Did you have to go for finger print for dropbox ? If yes can you do it same location where you are dropping documents ?

When i was filling DS160, it asked if i was ten printed and i clicked yes.  If you have already given finger prints the first time no need for dropbox.

Hey even I submitted my visa in the Dropbox category on 15 jun....did you get your visa or are you still waiting ?
