H4 extension

Hi All,

 

I am in a very tricky situation. I have applied H1 for my wife (she is on H4) and we are still waiting to know if her application got picked in the lottery or not. Meanwhile, I have to apply for my H1 extension as it expires on July 27th. 

 

1) Can I apply for her H4 extension along with mine when her H1 is under processing.

2) If her H1 is approved first and her H4 extension is approved later, will her H4 overwrite her H1 status?

3) Can I apply for my extension now and apply her's later, may be in the first week of July with my receipt number?
