My visa has already expired and right now I can stay in USA until this December with my DS2019 extension. I am a J1 waiver and I got offered a PAID traineeship by an IT consultancy from January, 2016 for the next 18 months. So that I have to apply for new J1 visa in December, 2015. I knew that I can't be a full employee under Traineeship program and its just like the contract job. Now my doubt is: How many hours can I work per week under this program? If I work for more than 40 hours a week, does it comes under violation of rules? And is there anything else I should know about Traineeship limitations? Please let me know. Thank You.
