RajeshChowdary Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 I have changed my employer recently from A to B. I don't have paystub yet from employer B. My wife is going for her 2nd H4 stamping(drop box) at Hyderabad, I'm going to send all required documents including latest 4 paystubs. But those paystubs are from Employer A (Old employer) since I don't have paystub from new employer yet. Any one came across this situation ? Kindly please let me know your suggestions. Thanks, RC
jairichi Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 Your spouse needs a copy of your I797 for getting a H4 visa stamped.
lpatan Posted June 5, 2015 Report Posted June 5, 2015 Do you have your approved I797 from employer B?
RajeshChowdary Posted June 5, 2015 Author Report Posted June 5, 2015 Your spouse needs a copy of your I797 for getting a H4 visa stamped. Thanks for your response. Yes I will be sending all those documents, but I don't have any pay stub from new employer. Could be a problem ?

Normally pay stubs are meant for your H1B visa stamping. Send her an employment verification letter. Also, when you say you do not have pay stubs can you specify for how long after you joined current employer?

I don't have any gap between payroll though last month I got pay check from old employer and expecting my first pay check this month end from new employer. I have one more doubt: I heard when we change employer my wife also not eligible for IWP, is that true ? If yes is there any way i can change appointment to in person interview at US consulate hyderabad ? or cancel and make new appointment ?

Since primary applicant is you and there is no change in that I believe she is eligible for IWP.
