abdullahsaif Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 Hello, My name is Abdullah, I’m currently a student in Hays, Kansas. I entered the USA in 2013 October 07. I studied first in University of Kentucky then I moved to Fort Hays State University on a terminated Sevis record. My reinstatement still on process. I studied one semester till now in Fort Hays State University but I’ll need to transfer to Southern University at Shreveport after the the summer semester to start my academic studies. What should i do after I finish my next summer semester in Fort Hays State University if the reinstatement still on process? Do I just need to obtain new i20 and admission later from Southern University at Shreveport where I’m going to study and re-enter USA with the same Visa and just pay for the new Sevis ? And should the new i20 be singed ? I'm plan on going home after this summer for one week and get back to US. My visa will expire on 2018 August 20. My academic studies in University at Shreveport starts on this August. Please I look forward to hearing from you. My best regards
JoeF Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 Why do you "need to transfer"? Moving from university to university looks bad, it looks as if you are not really interested in studying. You of course need an I-20 from the new university. And with your history, it will be hard to get that and it will be hard to get a visa.
