opt student:h1b transfer before start date

I am currently on OPT(started from jan 1st). I got a new job in Feb 2015 and my h1b is approved from the company. Unfortunately I was fired from the job and they will revoke my h1b in 30 days. I want to check my options.

1)I want to check whether I can use my approved h1b and transfer or Can I apply for h1b withour quota limit. 

2) Am I eligible for my opt extenstion if I got new job.

That H1 is gone. A transfer is not possible. The H1 will get into the pool and somebody else will get a chance.

Essentially, it means that you are not counted for the quota.

1. No. You have to go under cap next year.

2. Yes, as long as you maintain status.
