H1B stamping after divorce.

I was married in India in Jul 2011 and got divorced in India in Jan 2013. I applied for H4 visa and its not longer valid. 

 

Will I be asked about it during the stamping? 

 

Also please let me know if I need to book the embassy date before applying for visit visa to Canada. Or I can just book the embassy date after I get the visit visa.

Should not be an issue at all.

If dates are available you can book the date with US consulate after Canadian visitor visa approval.
