I am currently working in US and would like to visit India for 2 months. I am planning to work remotely from India for 1 month and come back. Can I work remotely from India and get my payroll processed in US? Can I claim this 2 months in future for failing my VISA extensions? Thank You.
JoeF Posted June 1, 2015 Report Posted June 1, 2015 If you are outside the US, you are by definition not on H1. If you work remotely from outside the US, you may have to pay taxes to the country you are in. You and the employer should discuss the issues with a good CPA experiences with international issues.
