Question regarding H-1B Amendment

Hello,

I have a basic question about the H-1B Amendment. I know amendment needs to happen if the work location gets change.

 

But Amendment means just filing the new LCA with the new location or its the same process that we do at the time of filing of new H-1B or H-1B Extension?

I have a similar question as well. I work in the EVC model.My client recently Merged with another company. Do i have to file H1 Amendment?
