I can work on the OPT crrently, but i'm planning to move to H4 so I can benefit the H4EAD. But, for applying for EAD I need to first get H4 nd then apply for EAD, this process can take about 6 months (3 for H4 COS and 3 for EAD). So, there will be a long break in my job.I read somewhere that I can apply for H4 and EAD simultaniously. Is it possible? What are my options if not?
jairichi Posted May 21, 2015 Report Posted May 21, 2015 Yes, you can apply. EAD approval will occur only after adjudication of H4 application.

H4 will get approved first and only after approval your EAD application will be processed and approved. You cannnot work without EAD approval.
