Possibility of H1 transfer when H1 Amendment is in progress

Hi,

 

I am working for Company A and due to change in my work location, Company A filled my H1 Amendment in Premium processing.

 

I got a good offer from Company B and I am planning to join them and go for H1 Transfer with Company B.

 

Please clarify following questions:

 

1) To file my H1 Transfer with Company B, do I need to wait till my H1 Amendment with Company A should be approved?

 

2)  To file my H1 Transfer with Company B, do I need to submit the new I797 copy that I will receive from Company A once the amendment is approved?

 

Kindly reply as I am confused to proceed further
