Hindam Posted May 13, 2015 Report Posted May 13, 2015 I have applied for H1B visa this year, i received the below RFE:” you seek to employ the beneficiary as a civil engineer with your heavy industrial mechanical contracting firm. you have submitted evidence of his educational qualifications for the positions. please submit further evidence to show that he has been registered by the board of architect and engineering examiners to practice the profession in the state of Tennessee.”i have i bachelor degree in civil engineering from Egypt and master’s degree in civil engineering from USA, i don't have the license and i need to know if there is any solution.
cap-gap Posted May 13, 2015 Report Posted May 13, 2015 License is only required for the exact title of Professional Engineer...not required for Civil Engr title or similar..look at the Tenn PE board regulations..send a copy of it with attorney's response..
