H1-B renewal/transfer

This is regarding renewal process and i am planning to go for H1B renewal process by using my old petition .

 

My petition was got  approved in 2007 H1-B  and  my visa got stamped in April 2008. But i have not traveled to US so far .

 

I am planning now to come to US , just want to know the process on my old petition , so  there are few  queries in mind , someone can advise on this .

 

1. Am i eligible for renewal process ?

2.Can i go-ahead with new a H1B renewal / transfer by using my old petition , what would be the process ? 

3. If so, what is the process for filing a new petition and the approximate time span? 

4. At present i am working with another  company  and  old petition filed  by my previous company ,  Is there any concern with companies ?
