H1B extension

Hi,

 

 

      I have finished 5 years on my H1B . I have I 140 approved. Now If new employer's file for H1B transfer can I get the Visa for 3  years on my I797 ? Or Initially only for 1 year remaining from 6 years and then I need to reapply for extension ?
