H1 transfer while got query with current H-1 B.. URGENT

Hi,

 

My H1 visa going to expire in a week and I got a query asking for client letter. But I can't get the client letter. But now I have a option of joining the client directly. If I join, do the client needs to apply for transfer with in a week ? or do we have time till current H1 will get expired. 

Also, what if my current H1 gets rejected by the time USCIS process transfer request.

Client has to apply before your petition or I94 expires. In that way even if your current H1 gets denied you are in valid status in US. Be careful about non-compete agreement if you have signed with current employer.
