dinesh410
From USCIS website, it looks like as if the Form I-131 (obtaining Travel Document viz. Re-Entry Permit) has to be now necessarily e-filed by everybody wanting to file I-131. Will somebody confirm this please. Secondly, I have Green Card issued in 1985 with no expiry. I have never received any notice for its renewal nor I have been asked for renewal of my GC at the port of Entry. Does my Green Card necessarily to be renewed. Shall appreciate if somebody clarifies. cap-gap
I-131 serves as application for multiple types of travel docs..the last time I read it, except for one type, all others need to mail it in to the local lock box...read the I131 instructions link just below the application link..
