Howareyou Posted May 4, 2015 Report Posted May 4, 2015 Hi, My visa expired in mid of January '15 and my H1B is currently under extension with current employer (employer A). My query is as soon as I get my extension approved, will there be a problem if transfer my H1B to a new employer with no gap. PLs advice.
wiweq Posted May 4, 2015 Report Posted May 4, 2015 No problem. Total quota of H1b is 6 years, max 3 years at a time. You can change your H1b employer provided you are maintaining current valid status i.e. H1b.
