AOS and CP

I have a typical problem.

My priority date is current to file I 485,I am here in USA and My spouse and kids are in India.Due to college they cannot come here ,So how can I file for AOS for all of us.

AOS is only possible if the person is in the US.

For dependents abroad, once your I-485 is approved, they can file for follow-to-join at a US consulate.

you, as the primary need to file 824, before they can apply for follow-to-join at their local consulate...you can file it now to accompany your 485 so that they can apply at the consulate as soon as your case is approved..will save them some waiting time..
