Wrong H1B Receipt Number updated on CAP GAP I20

Hi,

I have filed two H1b's from two different Employers and two of my H1b's are picked in the lottery. In my CAP Gap I20(the i20 provided for cap gap until Sep 30) has the company details of my current employer "X" and H1B receipt number of the other H1b filed Company "Y". 

I spoke to my ISS they said they are not aware of this kinda scenario and would like to do some research on this issue.

 

Would like to check if this is a major issue? How to correct this and update my current employers receipt number in my Cap gap i20? Is it going to effect my H1B approval process?Please reply soon.

Hi,

 

I am facing a similar situation with my Cap-Gap OPT having my current employer credentials and H1B receipt number of my other application.

 

I contacted my Office of Intl Affairs in my school and according to them, the i20 is choosing the latest receipt number, which in my case is the other H1B application. I also contacted Sevis and according to them, my cap-gap has been activated till Sept 30.

 

Just wanted to check if you could you get a solution to the issue. I will update the post if I get to hear anything from my school.
