sri8661 Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 my friend is on valid F1 visa (june 26th 2015) in opt .planning to return on may 10th to usa ..india trip (2015 -april 6th to may 10th for marraige). meanwhile his H1b application got selected in 2015 lottery. Does he need any h1b stamping after approval and wait till october or can he enter usa with his valid f1 visa by may 10th 2015.
jairichi Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 He can enter USA with his valid F1 visa and OPT EAD card. To move to H1B after Oct 1st he has to exit and enter with a valid H1B visa and I797.
rahul412 Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 She can enter on F1, but to work on H1 she has to file COS to H1 or cross the border and enter on H1 status.
