Sendilkumar
Hi, I am having a valid H1B stamping in my passport from employer A and it expires on Aug 31,2015 and not travelled to USA using this valid stamping. Now I have applied for new H1B petition with Employer B from India. Please let me know the answer for my below questions : a) Shall I travel with employer B H1B receipt or it is required to get H1B approval notice to travel from India? Thanks, Sendil Link to comment
jairichi
You need approval notice of employer B's petition if your intention is to work for B. Link to comment
ad2010
You need to get approval of Petition of Employer B before travelling if you are going to US to work for them. Link to comment
Tinkuvj
Are you in India right now? The answer depends on your current location. If you are in US, changed employer and already have a valid Visa Stamp then you don't need to face Visa interview again. You can enter US again with your existing visa stamp. But when the CBP officer asks for I797 you need to provide the new H1B receipt (employer B). You may need to provide few additional documents like recent pay stubs etc. Link to comment
hyperdude
You need the approved petition from Employer B. Once you arrive show the Visa with employer A info and approved copy with Employer B Link to comment
