I got a receipt number for my wife today, but I confirmed with company's lawyer that they didn't get mine yet. Does H4 receipt number imply my H1B is selected in the lottery?. Is this a usual case?. My wife's notice came from Vermont center, but I was told that my H1B was filed to California center.
