pppb Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Hello, I switched from L1B to H1B last year and my employer A holds the H1B visa. That is, I have my L1B visa stamped in my passport but NO H1B visa and I only have the I797A petition along with the I94 at the bottom and have been working using that petition. I am planning to change my employer A to B and I heard that doing such transfer without a H1B visa stamped could cause issues when I try to get it stamped in future when I will be with employer B. Is this true or are there any known legal complications because of no visa stamped? Thanks in advance for your advise.
