sovon Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Hi All, I am planning to change my job on EAD. My I-485 has been pending for over 180 days. My new employer, is asking me to join in EAD then do a H1 transfer using my I-140 approved status. Is there any risk in joining using EAD and then transfer my H1. Also, I have maxed out my H1 and my current H1 is based on my approved I-140. Appreciate your help.
obscurenessmoon Posted May 27, 2015 Report Posted May 27, 2015 Why are they doing the H1b filing after you join them? Can't they do the h1b filing before you join so that you can maintain the H status?
