H4 EAD application without spouse name on i-140

Hello,

 

Folks can you please help on below situation-

• My i-140 got approved in February 2015 
• Got married in early April 2015.  
• Currently my spouse is on H4 visa. My spouse name is not there on i-140, as we got married after i-140 approval 
• Now my spouse wants to apply for H4-EAD card. 

So my questions is- Do I first need to add my spouse name in i-140 OR my spouse can directly apply for H4-EAD application with our "Marriage certificate" and my " i-140 approved notice" ?

Yes, you can apply with your marriage cert.
