Sree554 Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 Hello everyone, I have a visa interview on Apr 28 @ Vancouver. The most common question, that I see being asked is about the Pay difference between LCA and the W2s. Could any help in posting their experience with this question and what if the salary difference is more. In my case , it is almost 30k.

Some said you have to have copy of approved timesheets in case you say overtime or it has to be mentioned as bonus in paystub if you say its bonus. In my case its overtime as well as expense but i dont have any proof of expense. Please reply how you handled this, once your interview is done. Wish you best for your interview.
agniverma Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 Sree, I haven't made my apointment yet since I have US born son and not sure if Vancouver allows kids to go inside with parents since he wont need visa so no apoointment will be for him, it'll be just me and my wife who will have appointment. If you get chance, can you please ask the same someone over there who is with KIDs or may be to gaurd. I know I am asking too much but just thought to ask if you can help.
JoeF Posted April 26, 2015 Report Posted April 26, 2015 You need to answer all questions truthfully. Only you know why there is a difference in your case. Trying to use boilerplate answers would only backfire. A lie could result in a lifelong ban.

Thank you very much for the response Sree. Congratulations. For how many months VO asked paystubs? Also for me its same hourly rate for overtime which i get for normal hours. Do yoy get 1.5 times of normal pay as overtime? I read its mandatory to get 1.5 of normal in overtime.
